Terms of use
Last updated 19 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Upnorth AI AB, the company that makes wunel. By creating an account or using wunel, you accept them. If you use wunel for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf.
We have tried to write these terms in plain English. If something is unclear, ask us at support@wunel.com.
1. Who we are
Upnorth AI AB (org.nr 559495-0882)
Klippvägen 19, 135 61 Tyresö, Sweden
support@wunel.com
“We” and “us” in these terms means Upnorth AI AB. “You” means the person using wunel.
2. The service
wunel is a shared markdown workspace where people and the AI assistants they connect edit the same pages, with a record of who wrote what. It includes the web app at app.wunel.com, the agent server at mcp.wunel.com that assistants connect to, the iOS app and this website. We keep improving wunel, so features may be added, changed or removed over time.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your email address and a one-time code sent to it. Use an address you control and keep access to it.
- You are responsible for your account and for what happens in it. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
4. AI assistants you connect
You can connect AI assistants to wunel. An assistant you connect acts on your behalf: it can read and change what your account can read and change. Its edits are recorded as that assistant “on behalf of” you, and you are responsible for them as if you had made them yourself. You can revoke an assistant’s access at any time.
The assistant itself is provided by someone else (for example OpenAI or Anthropic) under their own terms. We are not responsible for what their services do.
5. Your content
- You own your content. The pages, files and comments you and your assistants put into wunel stay yours.
- You give us the permission we need to run the service for you: to store, host, display, sync, copy and back up your content, and to show it to the people and assistants you give access to. We use it for nothing else.
- You can export any page as Markdown or Word, and you can delete your content and your account at any time. See our privacy policy for what deletion removes.
- You confirm that you have the right to put your content into wunel.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use wunel to:
- store or share anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
- upload malware or anything else designed to cause harm;
- harass, threaten or abuse other people;
- probe, attack or reverse engineer wunel to find ways to break into it or harm it (reporting a problem in good faith, as described on our security page, is welcome);
- access or scrape workspaces and pages you have not been given access to;
- get around the limits of your plan, rate limits or other safeguards.
The same rules apply to the assistants you connect.
7. Sharing
You decide what you share and with whom, and you are responsible for that choice. You can invite members to a workspace, or share a page by link. Anyone with a share link can see the page and, if you allow it, comment on it or edit it, without an account. You can change the access, replace the link or turn it off at any time.
8. Plans and payment
- wunel has two plans, Free and Team, described on our pricing page.
- Team is billed monthly, per editor. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT where it applies. You can cancel at any time.
- We may change our prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you.
9. Availability
We work hard to keep wunel running and your content safe, and we back it up every night. But wunel is provided “as is”, and we do not yet guarantee any particular uptime. There may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
10. Limitation of liability
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using wunel and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- If we ever decide to shut wunel down, we will tell you in advance so you can export your content.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as wunel changes. We will email you before material changes take effect. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If you keep using wunel after a change, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.
13. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes are settled by Swedish courts. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
