Lives in Stockholm
Maya moved from Uppsala to Stockholm in August.
Works from the Stockholm office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
type: fact · status: superseded
Lives in Uppsala
Maya lives in Uppsala and commutes to Stockholm.
Two pages in a memory. The old fact stays, marked superseded. C is Claude, G is ChatGPT, M is Maya.
Built-in memory is hard to check
It stays in one app. What ChatGPT remembers, Claude doesn’t know. Switch assistants and you start again.
You can’t read it like notes. It is hard to see everything it holds, or to fix one wrong detail.
Changes leave no trace. When something stops being true, there is no record of what it said before, or who changed it.
How it works
Connect your assistant
Paste one line into Claude or ChatGPT. It walks you through adding Wunel. You sign in with your email and a 6-digit code.
Ask it to remember
Say “start a memory for me in Wunel”. It writes short pages, one fact, decision or lesson each, with a type and a status.
Read and correct it
Open the pages at app.wunel.com. Change a line yourself, or revert what the assistant got wrong. The next chat that reads it gets your version.
What makes it different
Every line has an author
Each paragraph, list and table records who wrote it and when: you, or which assistant on whose behalf (“Claude, on behalf of Maya”).
Old facts are kept, not overwritten
When a fact changes, the assistant writes a new page and marks the old one superseded. Search shows current pages first. Pages edited in place keep their history.
One memory, any assistant
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI and other MCP clients read and write the same pages. Connect as many as you like.
Stored in the EU
On servers in Helsinki, Finland. Wunel runs no AI models on your pages and sends them to no AI provider. Only the assistants you connect read them.
How to start
1Copy the setup line into Claude or ChatGPT (in ChatGPT, turn on Developer mode first; the guide says how).
2Sign in with your email and the 6-digit code when it asks. That also creates your account.
3Then askStart a memory for me in Wunel. Your assistant suggests one line to save in its instructions, so new chats know where to look.
The setup line
Read https://mcp.wunel.com and help me get set up on Wunel
Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI or another MCP client? Add https://mcp.wunel.com/mcp
Questions
Does my assistant use it on its own?
Only when a chat points it there. After setup, your assistant suggests one line for its own memory or custom instructions, naming the workspace and what to read first. From then on, new chats know where to look.
What does it cost?
Nothing for one person: unlimited pages, as many assistants as you like, and 1 GB of files. A workspace moves to Team (€10 per editor per month, excl. VAT) only when a second person joins to edit. Pricing
I already keep notes in Obsidian or plain Markdown.
Wunel pages are Markdown. An assistant that can read your files, such as Claude Code, Cursor or Gemini CLI, can move a folder of notes in, one page per file, with [[wiki links]] turned into links. You can download any page as a .md file.
Who can read my memory?
You and the assistants you connect, unless you invite someone or share a page by link. Nobody at Wunel reads your pages. You can see every connected assistant, and revoke one, under Settings → Security. Privacy policy
Give your assistant a memory you can check.
Free for one person. Your email and a 6-digit code, no password, no card.
